1990  Commissioned by the National Museum of Ireland – site specific commission

2001  Commissioned by Duchas to design and make a centrepiece for new Head Office in Killarney

           Commissioned by RDS to design and make awards  for the Irish Forestry Awards

David’s work is held in many private collections and is also part of the well-known Collection of American woodturning collectors, Ruth and David Waterbury. Two of David’s pieces from this Collection have been gifted to the Minneapolis Institute of Art & the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, USA.
