My salad/fruit bowls and platters are turned from Irish timbers such as
Ash
Oak
Sycamore
Beech
Elm - when I can get my hands on it!
They generally come in two styles and three sizes and I usually have some odd-sized beautiful large platters or bowls available.

CARE OF YOUR BOWL or PLATTER
You can wash your bowl or platter in warm soapy water, do not emerse it for too long in the water just pop it in and out quickly, rinse off and dry with a soft dry cloth. NEVER PUT YOUR BOWL OR PLATTER IN THE DISH WASHER. The oils in your salad dressing will 'feed' your bowl, but if it is feel a bit dry after some years you can 'feed' it with a little good quality olive oil, which you can rub in with your fingers, rubbing the excess away with some kitchen paper or a soft dry cloth.

I can let you know exactly what I have in stock or I can make one up especially for you - but please make sure to give me enough tiime to make it up for you if you need it by a certain date, about 3-4 weeks should be fine for special orders.
